Italian Beef Sub
Ingredients
5 lbs beef chuck roast – cut into chunks
4 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
2 tbs Italian seasoning
1 cup beef broth
1 16 oz pepperoncini peppers
Hoagie rolls
Mayonnaise
Cut provolone
Sliced pepperoncini peppers
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Placed beef roast in Dutch oven
Sprinkle seasoning over beef
*Salt
*Pepper
*Italian Seasoning
Toss to coat
Add whole jar of pepperoncini
Add beef broth
Stir to even coat roast
Place into oven
Cook for 3-4 hrs till beef is tender
Once done
Remove beef place on plate or bowl
Shred beef
Remove any stems from the pepperoncini
Place beef back into the liquid
Let sit for about 15 minutes
Cut your hoagies rolls in half
Toast till golden brown
Spread mayo on top half of bun
Place cheese on the bottom half
Spoon beef over cheese
Top with sliced pepperoncini
Serve w/ fry's or chips
