Roast and Gravy Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS

Beef Chuck Roast (3lbs)

Provolone cheese

3 cups Beef broth

2 Lg Onions

3 pkg Brown Gravy mix

Salt

Pepper

Oil

Buns

 

 DIRECTIONS

Slice your onions

Season roast on all sides with salt and pepper

Add oil to skillet heat on medium high

Sear roast on each side about 3-5 minute

 

Add 1 cup beef broth to your crock pot

To a crock pot add half your sliced onions

Place your beef roast on top of the onions

Place the remaining onions on top the roast

Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hrs till roast is tender

 

Once your roast if done

Remove from Crockpot

Place on plate and shred using 2 forks

Remove any large bits of fat

Return to your crockpot

 

To a bowl add 2 cups beef broth

Add your brown gravy to the bowl

Wisk to fully combined

Pour you mixture to your crock pot

Give a good mix

 

Cover and cook for another 30 minutes

 

Toast your buns

Spread mayo on both halves

Add large scoop of your roast to the bottom half

Add provolone over roast

Top with the other half of your bun
