French Dip Beef
INGREDIENTS
3-4 lbs Chuck Roast
Salt
Pepper
Pepper
Olive oil
Onion sliced
2 tbs minced garlic
2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 pkg Au Jus Gravy
3 cups Beef broth
Provolone cheese
Sub rolls
Mayo
DIRECTIONS
Season your roast on all sides with Salt and Peppers pressing into the meat
Heat oil in large Dutch oven on med high
Sear your roast on all sides for 3-5 minutes
Once seared place into a crockpot
Add onions, garlic, Worcestershire, broth and Au Jus packet
Mix to combine
Let simmer for about 5 minutes
Pour the mixture over the roast in the crock pot
Cook on low for 6-8 hrs or high for 3-4 hrs
Once meat is fork tender
Shred the meat and discard any extra fat
Return meat to gravy
Toast your sub rolls
Spread mayo on the toasted bun
Spread your roast on the toasted bun
Add provolone cheese over the meat
Eat as is or placed under broiler for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese
