Cajun Baked Catfish
Ingredients
6 catfish fillets
¼ cup olive oil
Cajun Seasoning
3 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne
½ tsp red pepper flakes – ground into powder
Directions
In a small bowl
Add spices for Cajun seasoning
Mix till thoroughly combined
Set to the side
Preheat oven to 425
Line a baking sheet w/ foil
Brush 2 tbs oil on baking sheet
Using a large plate
Brush fillets with olive oil
Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on fillets
Press seasoning into the fillets
Repeat on the bottom side of the fillets
Place fillets on the baking sheet
Repeat till all fillets are seasoned
Place into the preheated over
Cook fillets for 15-30 minute
Check the thickest part of the fish
When done should flake easily
Serve with lemon wedges, tartar sauce
Server potato salad as a side
