Bourbon Chicken
Ingredients
3 lbs chicken thighs or breast cut into pieces
3 tbs olive oil
¾ cup Bourbon
*Apple Cider can be used in place of Bourbon
1.5 cup soy sauce
¾ cup brown sugar
9 garlic cloves – minced
3 tsp cornstarch
3 tbs water
Directions
Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces
Heat oil in large pot or skillet
Cook chick till brown
In small bowl
Whisk together bourbon, sugar and garlic
Whisk together water and cornstarch
Add to the bourbon mixture
Pour the sauce over the chicken
Simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens
Serve over rice
