Beef Vegetable Soup
INGREDIENTS
3-4 lbs beef roast
64 oz beef broth
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 lbs carrots
1 pkg frozen pea’s
1 pkg frozen green beans
1/2 cabbage
2 pkg brown gravy mix
1 tbs hot sauce
3 tbs Cajun seasoning
1 cap of kitchen bouquet
water
DIRECTIONS
Cut your beef roast into 1-inch cubes
Add your beef and beef broth to a large pot
Add enough water to cover the beef
Add your Cajun seasoning (2 tbs)
Cook on a medium high covered till beef is tender (about 2 hrs)
Durning cooking you will loss some liquid, add more to keep beef covered
Once your beef is fork tender
Add carrots and bouillon cubes then cook for 30 minutes
Add green beans and peas then cook for 30 minutes
cabbage and hot sauce
Once your veggies are tender
Using a ladle add some of your broth to a bowl
Whisk in 1 package of brown gravy to start till you get to the thickness you want
Reduce to a simmer and continue to cook
