Southern Chicken and Noodles

Ingredients

3 large boneless chicken breast

4 cups (32oz) chicken broth

1 cup water

½ cup butter

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

2 (10oz) can Cream of chicken soup

1 (16oz) bag egg noodles

Directions

In a large pot or Dutch oven

Add broth, water and spices

Mix to combine

Add chicken and butter and cover

Heat over med high

Once broth starts to boil

Reduce to low

Cook for 30-45 minutes

Remove chicken from broth

Once chicken is cool

Shred or cut into bite size pieces

Add Cream of chicken to the pot

Mix till smooth

Bring to a boil

Add chicken and noodles

Bring mixture to a boil

Reduce to low

Cover and cook for 5 minute or till noodles are halfway done

Turn off heat

Cover and let site for 5-20 minutes till noodles are done
