Chili Mac

INGREDIENTS

1 tbs oil

1 med onion diced small

3 cloves garlic minced

1 lb ground beef 80/20

2 cups chicken broth

2 cups pasta sauce

1 16 oz chili beans

1 10 oz Rotel

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

2 cups uncooked macaroni

¾ cups shredded cheddar cheese

 

 DIRECTIONS

Heat oil in large Dutch oven

Add onion, garlic and beef

Cook until meat is browned and crumbly

Drain excess fat

Stir in broth, pasta sauce, Rotel, beans, chili powder and cumin

Mix to ensure everything is combined

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Bring to a boil and add your pasta

Lower to simmer and cook till pasta is one about 15 minutes

Remove from heat

Stir in the cheese
