Shrimp Creole
Ingredients
2 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined 6 tbs olive oil 1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup bell pepper
1 cups celery, finely chopped
4 cups tomatoes 4 cups water 2 clove garlic, finely minced 1 tsp Worcestershire 2 8oz can tomato sauce 1 tbs hot sauce 1 tbs Cajun seasoning
Directions
Heat a large pan and add the olive oil
Add onion, celery, and bell pepper
Cook until onions are translucent
Roughly 5 minutes
Add water, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and garlic
Simmer for 5 minutes
Add Worcestershire, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning
Cook mixture for 30 minutes
Add the shrimp
Cook for 15 more minutes
**For an extra kick**
Add 1 extra tbs of hot sauce and Cajun seasoning
Serve over the cooked rice
