New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
Ingredients
2 tbs olive oil
4 cloves fresh garlic - minced
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs lemon juice
½ cup chicken broth
4 tsp fresh cracked pepper
4 tsp creole seasoning
2 lbs Jumbo or Large shrimp
*Divined and peel on
2 sticks salted butter - cubed
Directions
Heat large skillet on med high
Add oil to skillet
Once heated
Add garlic
Cook for 1-2 minutes
Add stock, Worcestershire, lemon juice
pepper and creole seasoning
Cook till sauce starts to thicken
Add shrimp
Toss to coat with sauce
Continue to stir and flip shrimp for 1 minute on each side
Turn heat down to low
Slow add butter a few tablespoons at a time
Let melt completely then add more butter
Continue till all butter has been added
Remove from heat and let set for 5 minutes
Serve with Tabasco sauce, lemon wedges and French bread
