Mexican Hotdogs

Mexican Hotdog

INGREDIENTS

8 hot dogs

8 hotdog buns

4 jalapenos

1 small onion

1 red bell pepper

1 green bell pepper

2 Roma tomatoes

Shredded cheddar cheese

Oil

Butter - softened

 

DIRECTIONS

Cut your jalapeno in half and remove the seeds

Cut you seeded jalapeno into thin strips

Cut your bell peppers into thin slices

Cut your onion into thin slices

Dice up your tomatoes

Use a knife to score your hotdogs

 

Heat a large skillet on med high

Add a small amount of oil

Add your hotdogs

Cook till a nice sear on all sides

Add your veggies

Cook till veggies are tender

 

Use a knife to spread button over the outside of your buns

 

Heat a 2nd skillet over med high

Add buns to the skillet

Toast your buns on all sides

 

Place your hotdog into your toasted bun

Add veggies on top

Tops with shredded cheese

 

Server with chips
