Grilled Steak and Shrimp
Ingredients
3 Steaks (Your Choice)
1 lbs. Shrimp
Skewers (Enough for 5 shrimp per)
Olive Oil
1 tsp Red Pepper flakes
**I use Flatiron Pepper Co
1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Directions
Place your Skewers soaking in water
Heat your grill to about 400
Make sure your steaks are at room temperature
Drizzle olive oil on steaks
Rub the oil all over the steak
Season with Salt and Pepper
Repeat on the other side of steak
Place your shrimp in a bowl
Drizzle with olive oil
Mix till oil coats the shrimp
Add Cajun seasoning
Mix to ensure completely covered
Added Red Pepper flakes
Mix to ensure completely covered
Thread your shrimp on the skewers
**Normally about 4-5 depending on Size
Repeat until all shrimp are skewered
Place your steaks on Grill at 45-degree angle
Let cook for 3 minutes
Turn your steak 90-degrees
Let cook for 3 minutes
Flip the steak to the other side
Repeat the process
Once cook remove from the grill
Cover with foil and let rest for 15 minutes
Place your shrimp on the grill
Cook for 5 minutes
Turn your shrimp
Cook for an additional 5 minutes
Remove from the grill
Plate your steak and serve w/ 2 shrimp skewers
Server with Salad, Baked Potato or Garlic Bread
