Creole Sloppy Joes
INGREDIENTS
2lb ground beef 80/20
1 sm onion – diced
1 bell pepper – diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbs yellow mustard
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
2 tbs brown sugar
1 can Rotel
2 cups ketchup
1 tbs Cajun seasoning
Optional:
1-2 tbs hot sauce
Buns
DIRECTIONS
Heat skillet over med high heat
Add ground beef cook for 5 minutes
Add onions and bell pepper
Cook till meat is no longer pink and vegetables are soft
Drain any excess grease
Add remaining ingredients
Mix to fully combine everything
Lower to a simmer
Cover and cook for 20 minutes
Cook uncovered for another 10-15 to thicken
Serve over toasted hamburger buns
