Pork Loin and Mashed Potatoes

Pork Loin and Mashed Potatoes



Ingredients

1/2 of Whole Pork Loin

2 Large Russet Potatoes

1 Small Red Onion

1/2 Stick of Butter

1-2 cups of Milk

All in One seasoning

2 Pk of Brown Gravy

1-2 Tbs of Oil

3-4 cups of Water



Directions

Heat Oven to 350 degrees

Season Pork Loin on all sides

In Large Oven Safe Pot add Oil and heat

Once Oil is hot add Pork Loin

Sear on all Sides

Once Pork Loin is seared remove from Pot

Dice up Red Onion and add to oil

Cook till onions are tender about 5 minutes

Add Pork Loin

Add 3-4 cups of water enough

Cover and place in the Oven at 350 degree for about 1-2 hr

After an hour check Pork Loin and add more water if needed


Once Pork gets to 165 remove from the oven

Remove Loin from pot and set to the side

Add 2 pks of Brown Gravy to same bowl with about 1/2 cup of water

Add to Gravy mixture to pot and mix till smooth

Season to taste


Slice Pork Loin into 1/2-1-inch slices

Add back to Gravy and let still till ready to server



Mashed Potatoes

Peel Potatoes

Cut into large chunks


Add Water to large pot

Add a few pinches of Salt

Add Potatoes

Cook on Med-High till fork tender

Once done drain and place in large mixing bowl

Add 1/2 stick of melted butter

Using Blender mix until smooth (If you prefer a chucker mashed potatoes blend until desired consistency)

Add 1-2 cup of milk (until desired consistency)

Season to taste with Salt


Plate Mashed potatoes

Plate Slices Pork Loin

Cover both with Brown Gravy
